Our onsite bus has now started for the summer.
It will depart Monday to Saturday from outside our reception at 10am and 11.15 into Weymouth, returns from Kings Statue at 1.50pm and 5.15pm. The price is £4 adult return, £2 child return, Concession passes are accepted for free travel, Dogs generally accepted unless driver thinks too many will be on the bus. A weekly family pass is £35 (2adults and unto 3 children) Under 5’s on laps no charge. There is a late bus on Firework nights.
The Number 8 Chickerell Bus runs from the end of our lane (1/2 mile) every 20 mins Monday to Saturday then hourly on the hour on Sundays, Concession passes are taken. Family weekly Dorset ticket is £40 (2 adults and upto 3 children) and can be used on the X53 to Bridport, Lyme Regis, Poole and Bournemouth, dogs are generally accepted Adult Weymouth day ticket is £3 and child ticket £2.20

There are lots of events planned for the opening ceremony weekend in Weymouth, so if you are booking (or have booked) Sat 28th July to Sat 4th August or Sat 11th August we have a late availability special offer of £10 discount if you would like to arrive on Friday 27th July so you can take advantage of viewing the opening ceremony on the big screen at the Beach Live site in Weymouth followed by Firework display, then on Saturday 28th, the finale of the ‘Gathering of the Winds’ event is taking place in Weymouth Bay, where 2012 people will be wading into the water with lit torches to send the wind out to the sailors in time for the competitions.
